The ITIL Basis Framework consists of the 10 ITIL processes, which are comprehensively documented in detail in the Service Support (5 support processes) and Service Delivery (5 delivery processes) books.
In addition to the detailed description of the objectives and the benefits of the individual processes, the books also contain illustrations of the relationships existing between the processes and implementation instructions. Reference is also made to difficulties that could arise during the implementation. These process descriptions thereby offer a suitable framework for an individual IT Service Management. They are not instructions in the narrower sense, however, and must be filled out according to the specific company during the implementation.
